where did " i " go?

i realised i've changed alot. alot alot alot.

when i was in secondary school, i used to jump up n down, messin' with people's hair, laughing out loud at little things & jokes. i WAS young, cheerful, bubbly and vivacious.

but NOW, i'm like a working adult. im more serious, exhausted from all the work load & socialising, too tired to laugh, rush here & there, extra cautious with the words i use.

i want the previous me back. i want the 'secondary school' me back.

if i can turn the time back, i want to extend my secondary school years. i don want the 4 years to end. NEVER.

i miss myself, the real me (or should i say the simple me?), the me before.

我想念以前的‘我’,这个‘我’到底去了哪里?

Jesus is the Lover of your soul - but how many of us really understand that? The sweet exquisite ache in your heart, the tears in your eyes, the river of His Spirit running over your body, the miracles, ordinary and supernatural, that He has performed in your life, sometimes I wish I could pound the revelations into your head and squeeze it into your heart. But thank God for Grace! Grace Amazing, Amazing Grace, Everlasting, Passionate, Patient, Powerful, Perfect, Unconditional Grace!!!!!!

Are you going to sit there and be sad and sour because of circumstances and troubles? Are you going to dwell on your problems? Everyone has problems, but unless you look to God you're gonna drown, sink under the weight of crashing waters intead of walking on water.

Cry out to God day and night, struggle with Him, just reach out and touch Him. He would rather you do that that than for you to be silent, to be self-reliant, to be depressed, oppressed, crushed. Anything that's built on less than Jesus's Love & Righteousness is built on sinking sand. Faith and love are bred in dark times, go and read the Song of Solomon. Sing a new song from your heart to God, and tell Him how much you love Him. In His perfect Love, you'll find your deliverance.

Genesis 32:28 Then the man said, "Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with men and have overcome."

James 4:8 Come near to God and he will come near to you.

MY HOPE IS BUILT ON JESUS
(The Solid Rock)
Words: Edward Mote, 1834.
Music: John Bacchus Dykes, 1860.

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly trust in Jesus' name.
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness seems to hide His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood.
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand.

When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh may I then in Him be found.
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
